Middle School

Our middle school grade levels include the 6th through 8th grades. 

In the Classical Liberal Arts, this is considered the Logic Stage. Students develop and use their foundational skills in critical thinking to participate in Socratic Seminars and take a deeper dive into the integrated content areas. Students will begin studying the writing process in more depth, including the introduction of rhetoric. At this stage, and being better equipped with tools for critical thinking, they examine more in depth the stages and elements of western civilization and get in touch with "the classics," also referred to as "high quality literature," both in the secular and religious fields.
